I'm taking my first Digital Painting class with William Wolfram! Here are the results of our first day when he showed us layer blending effects. We're always looking for interesting textures for the photos we use. I used three shots, a picture of myself reflected in broken glass, one of the broken glass by itself at another angle and light source, and a rough, dirty snow truck.
Edit: I took Wolfram's suggestion to de-emphasize some of the white shapes and rework one of the corners so that it didn't distract from the rest of the piece.
