Description
I want to do an homage to Darkwing Duck and Will Eisner's "The Spirit." I want Darkwing's signature "I am the Terror…" speech represented in something which nods to Eisner's famously innovative splash pages for The Spirit. Launchpad was the hardest to translate to human form.
I'm pretty happy with this grouping and the idea of the candle acting as a light source and a place for the rest of the line to connect to.

If you're a DW fan and haven't become familiar with Eisner yet…he's kind of an artistic mad genius. I'm happy to get to blend a childhood hero with a more recent artistic role-model.
