I love El Greco, a great mannerist! And I never knew that about the Easter colors...learn something new everyday.
Anywho, really my only problem with this is just the stark white of the hand. I know you're working off the original here, but I feel if you could dull that white on the hand just a little bit, then my focus would lie on the most important part of the picture, which I feel is the face.
Very nice otherwise.
